Storm on the sea
© Gravitythief
This party is over, we are alone
And I feel so helpless, there's nowhere to go,
But the storm on the sea
Brings strangers who meet
Life on the shore
So I'll let the wind blow
Carry me home
Lead me to your door
The room is so quiet, hush please don't cry.
Day break is dawning, cold in the sky.
Don't tell me your name, I can't stay here.
The tide now recedes, with the light comes my fear
Can you hear?
The storm on the sea
It rages in me, leaves me so unsure
I feel the wind blow,
Lose sight of my home, it keeps me from your door
I dream about you, you smile through the haze
Its been so long since we've touched,
So many rainy days, the skies are so black,
I can't see the suns rays.
The storm on the sea, inevitably
Brings life to the shore
I'll let the wind blow,
I now know my home,
It lies past your door.
