COMPASSION
Law of Compassion; truths delight;
Bearing foremost Law's final twilight.
For what greater Law than this,
than Compassion's eternal bliss?
For if rules enforce Laws,
as it is said that they must,
Than does Compassion carry
infinite trust.
What then violence, as 'justice' stands,
Full of hatred; blind to man.
Instead Compassion's gentle rain;
What higher Justice, so fairly gained?
For by Compassion does Heaven stand;
beloved to soul; friend to man.
For Justice blind, as it must be,
holds Mercy as it's highest decree.
For what was done, in ignorance blind,
now stands revealed, by knowledge refined.
For where does errant justice flee,
if not to Compassion's noble integrity?
For, what greater Justice this,
than Compassion's incessant kiss?
---------
The truth is that many people set rules to keep
from making decisions."
