REFLECTION

The moon is bright
It looks so white
Upon the dark skies
It shines like a torch
Showing the way in the night.

I walk along the rivers edge
I look up to the moon
I take a look in the creek below
And the moon is there too like a twin.

I caress the waters with my hand
And ripples begin to appear
I lean over towards the waters edge
And suddenly its my face that appears.

DAWN

At first it is dark
The sky is black
Then out in the distance
There is rays of light

The sun begins to raise its head
And the night it goes straight to bed
The light gets brighter
and the sun gets higher

At first there is silence
As the new day begins
The birds start singing
Cars start honking
and with the dawn
Life comes to the streets once again.
