Into
Paradise
I hear it now
the soft sweet melodies a day long ago,
the tribulations of a love gone by ---
It came at a time
when love was just a word that happened at the end of a movie---
Something that opens all the closed doors.
She was the one and I called her Sunshine, and we became one.
Oh how we loved, but our youth prevented us from seeing the love we really had and now it
is but a dream of untold memories.
If you are lonely you can take my hand and we shall walk into Paradise once again.
I hear it now
the ducks ever so sweetly calling your name,
If they remember, do you?
You were all I had , all I ever wanted---
tell me who shall take the blame?
I seem to be stumbling through the floor of sanity and it seems to center around you.
Please come take my hand, for there are things abounding, my life is anew with only the
thought of you.
As the morning sun announces the new day I realize this has been but a dream and the new
day awaits me as the rays of Sunshine caress my face.
