A fairy Tale Princess

The day had a strange feel about it.

My head ached from the night before and the world seemed to be slowing to a crawl.

I had been blinded to see all the gifts life had to give and how they were a part of my soul.

I seemed to be searching for something in vain and the road I treked led nowhere.

Oh how life can deceive thee in the way you can travel down many paths.

A maze in itself and the end is surely somewhere.

I had been traveling in darkness and then you came.

Yes you had been traveling the same path but a ray of light shone in your eyes, how could this be?

We loved , we laughed and most of all we shared.

The memories of the past began to fade and I once again began to live.

That ray of light began to crumble the walls of despair with each breath that you took.

Oh she was but a fairy tale princess and we had to part.

I sit and watch as the waves kiss the shore and remember the wisdom you shared and thank the Lord that you came.

I know that our paths are far apart but maybe they will cross once again.

I write this in memory of my fairy tale princess Suzanne.
