ADVENTURES OF WALDEN

Meditating on dawns, sunsets and nights

Time's wreck I've seen. Life's

Claws devour and bury me

In a fallen tomb of fat world

Where naked rapes massacre love.

O noble Spirit, resolve the puzzle:

Why bastards are righteous,

Why Cains are worshipped.

Yes, leaving cruel whirlwinds,

To Emerson, Thoreau and Whitman I fly.

Searching a quiet cell secret

Far from savage, horrid sensuality

I followed Walden severe and chaste

A pure Sylvan site soft.

From morn till dewey eve I played with nature's
pearls.

Pitying my plight with her heavenly grace

My shuddering face a squirrel touched.

I came to Walden soul-refreshing and famous

Where Thoreau meditated for long.
