These Few Words
I look out upon the glistening trees how they glow as
the full moon shines down upon their radiance.
Yes, look and see as the rabbits leave their prints in the newly laden snow on their way
homeward.
Listen as the babbling brook sings her song of joy as her waters flow upon her bed of
stones.
Stop and feel how the Christmas tree emplores the spirit of Yuletide and carols in our
souls.
Yes, this was the right time for the Christ child to be born.
As I gaze into the fire burning ever so brightly, I envision a world of peace among all
men.
Your presence here magnifies the thought ten fold.
I want to release a cry of joy to the wind as I caress your body ever so gently.
The world outside is a cold world but inside its ecstasy to behold, this world I have
begun to share with you.
Yes, I am a simple man with worldly possessions few so I write these few words as my
Christmas present to only you.
