Love

Hmmm.  What an interesting site!  Came across it via a young woman who offered some advice for a situation that potentially had no outlet.  I often ponder about one continual thought; the strength and validity of our emotions.  Time and again, I've been faced with the eternal question, "why."  To the weak of heart and mind, answers are frantically being traced through their minds.  But for those few individuals who choose to abandon the pretense of an answer, it comes so clearly and easily.  It is a personal answer, geared towards every individual differently, and thus answered differently.  There is, by no means, a universally right answer.  But maybe, collectively, the answer lies in these emotions.  Can I love someone I have never seen in person; touched her cheek; gazed into her hypnotic eyes?  Yes!  In the words of my colleague, "the same thing that hurts when we are apart is what brings smiles when we are together."  It's become so clear what purpose life brings, and the truth of love.  Angst, hatred, sadness...these are easily accepted as "real."  But to state love is always questioned.  I have touched upon many potential topics here, and I'm not sure where I was heading with this.  But I do know that while writing this, I have been assured that love is a real emotion that is always requited, and which has no bounds.  To assert that you love someone more than another is false, but you can love differently (ie: friendship, parents, lover).  Well, I hope I spark at least one comment about this post.  Remember my firm statement: "love does not flow like water.  You either do or you don't.  And it can exist over the Internet."

Thanks...
